### Describe the enhancement requested We currently have 10 nightly jobs that mirror the builds of the `arrow-r` conda-forge feedstock. These builds are exceptionally long with ~2.5-3 hours each for ~30h/day as they also build arrow-cpp. From what I can see these jobs have not helped fix any issues on the feedstock side in a long time (rather conda forge changes break our nightlies necessitating the opposite of what we want to achieve -> support for the cf maintainers), not even our massive build system refactor has caused any issues for the feedstock (as it relies on arrow-cpp for the binary). So the **_~2700 hours_** per release spent on these jobs have don't have any advantage and impose a maintenance burden on us and the cf maintainers. We should remove them. ### Component(s) Continuous Integration, R -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
