jja725 opened a new issue, #4631:
URL: https://github.com/apache/arrow-adbc/issues/4631

I'd like to request a new ADBC driver be listed in the [driver
table](https://github.com/apache/arrow-adbc/blob/main/docs/source/driver/index.rst),
per the "Have a Driver to Add?" process.

   - **Name/database:** Presto (PrestoDB)
   - **Suggested slug:** `presto`
   - **Repository:** https://github.com/jja725/adbc-presto (currently a
personal prototype — see below)
   - **License:** Apache License 2.0
   - **Language/packaging:** Go, built on `driverbase-go` + `sqlwrapper`,
wrapping
[`prestodb/presto-go-client/v2`](https://github.com/prestodb/presto-go-client).
Packaged as a cgo shared library (`-tags driverlib -buildmode=c-shared`),
following the same layout as the existing [Trino
driver](https://github.com/adbc-drivers/trino) (see prior discussion in #1231).
   - **Status:** Builds cleanly (`go vet`/`gofmt` clean); full integration
suite (85 cases) passes against `prestodb/presto:latest` in Docker.

I've also opened adbc-drivers/dev#230 proposing this driver join the ADBC
Driver Foundry as `adbc-drivers/presto`, matching the Trino driver's home. I'm
filing this issue here too for visibility, and am happy to update the
repository URL once that's resolved — let me know if you'd rather I wait until
it has a permanent home before listing it.
