The
ExternalCertificateLoginModule currently assigns the user principal from the
CN, which assumes trust but an alternative login module must add roles.
When the user has full control of the certificate creation, it can make sense
to use OUs as roles and greatly simplify configuration.
so long as this is configurable, disabled by default, all existing use cases
will continue to work.
