Ok, in that case i think the best way to proceed is to wire an executor
parameter that indicates whether the executor should allow users to specify
custom ZK paths. This isn't terribly user-friendly, since rejection won't
surface until the task actually tries to execute, but i'm not sure there's a
better approach that doesn't result in a huge yak shave.
