I agree with the "bighammer" remark. Yet when it comes to tricky software like this I prefer to rely on the proven code by others. I put it in a separate package `springframework` because I first wanted to see it this actually works and I like to be open about having fully copied a class from a separate project. I see this as a "manual shading" of this "dependency". I'm totally fine with putting it all in utils or some other package.
