@pabloem Sorry, correction - after the rebase it stopped working again but
now the issue is that it hangs on the Read step for a long time and does not
produce new records. Right before rebase it worked and it works for Flink and
Direct runners. I will bisect this tomorrow and try to find the cause.
Alternatively I could look for the solution in a separate PR (of course if
there's nothing more to address).
