Another bit of follow-up from [#7183|https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/7183]
(in addition to BEAM-6361) is to fail more gracefully when encountering
MonitoringInfos containing metrics with unsupported types (e.g., doubles; only
integer counters and distributions are currently supported).
Currently an exception is thrown, but a warning log would be more appropriate.
