This just went away when I squashed and pushed commits, but added no code
changes. So I am able to move forward.
However, the issue could come back, since there is no explanation.
I would also like an escalation path to be able to try something for what we
suspect to be environmental issues. I did not receive assistant to put the
machine in a clean state and try again.
