   INT96 would be one of the tests, though I'm curious to learn how to test for 
Configuration values used by a ParquetReader.
   
   More generally, I want to learn how to test for presence of values using 
`Mockito#verify`. I understand that as per Effective Java its not a recommended 
pattern, but is important for some scenarios like this one.
