Looks like the logs problem is a known issue with the gogradle plugin:
https://github.com/gogradle/gogradle/issues/147
Since a fix was never added, looks like the best bet at the moment is to change
the task to run with the `--info` flag in gradle, but that's going to cause a
lot of extraneous logs. Might be necessary though.
