   Thank you for laying out the options. @melap what do you think? What would 
work best for you? I think (B) would be the better change, because the source 
of truth will be in files that is easy to audit in plain text format.
   
   Re: Defaulting to python3 in notebooks
   I think this is a good idea. Maybe just add a comment note to the noteboek 
about python3 support is experimental and users can switch to python2 if they
