Review comment:
Checking the documentation, the bulk mutation should throw an Exception
that extends ApiException (that is a RuntimeException), would this be an
acceptable way to write the metric if that is the case without altering the
current program flow?, I'm currently working in testing end to end to see if
the exception and metric is working ok.
