   What was the reasoning behind going with `compileOnly` instead of creating a 
new `provided` configuration?
   
   Note there were a couple of `compileOnly` dependencies before this change 
that now will be marked as `provided` such as all the `compileOnlyAnnotations` 
within `BeamModulePlugin.groovy`.
