There's a caveat I've just noticed - the cluster won't get deleted when some
step fails before "teardownDataproc". This, in turn, will cause leaving
Dataproc clusters not deleted (only in case of failures, but still - this
surely can happen).
A possible candidate to solve this problem:

I have to fix this before merging the PR. I will post an update shortly.
