Unfortunately, I don't think we can infer them. I guess the problem now is that
if we take away the current method of supplying arguments, it would break
things. Maybe we could keep the current arguments to preserve compatibility,
but also let the user specify arguments in a single string (e.g.
-PbeamArgs="–arg1=val1 --arg2=val2...") and prefer that going forward.
