       what about using 'x' instead of 'scopeContext(name)', this way we will 
use a non capturing lambda

Review comment:
       should we add a "clear()" method ?
   I am thinking about running tests and JVM env pollution
   
   we should also add a call to this cleanup method in some shutdown code of 
the Bookie and of the BK client probably or of the StatsProvider
