Ok, I'll go ahead and pull this in today then. I've been having some issues
getting it to run successfully on Travis (times out in some calcite-core
tests). I'll also deploy a current snapshot of the Avatica modules so other
devs (hopefully) don't notice the interruption. If we get the release out this
week, it shouldn't be too bad.
I had also stepped through the release process for Avatica (same as the process
you have documented) and that worked for me. Hopefully it won't be painful.
