You're probably right. However I'm working on that code right now, for
CALCITE-1208, and I'm modifying it extensively. So, what would help me is a
pull request with a test case (probably a couple of methods added to
SqlValidatorTest.java); if the PR doesn't contain a fix, that's fine.
