It seems like simple queries with >< or between are not supported at all, or
need some undocumented setting for doing so.
Moreover, simple queries seem to take a lot of time, much more than direct
queries over elasticsearch.
I would have fixed it, if some documentation about the structure, or the way
the push-down is supposed to work there would have been exposed.
