[~chris-baynes], I see your PR https://github.com/apache/calcite/pull/465 is
still open and there is no JIRA case to track it. Also there is no test case.
Even if you don't intend to get the PR ready to commit, can please log a JIRA
case and indicate what you were trying to solve?
