The return type of the function is a RelDataType. However, the RelDataType does
not tell us what is the JavaRowFormat and we need this information to create a
PhysType.
On the other hand, a function is translated into an Expression which has a Type
so in principle we could use this information to derive the JavaRowFormat.
Unfortunately, this is not possible either since in some cases the Type will be
Object.class so again we cannot map it to the appropriate JavaRowFormat.
