Hey [~sereda], [~Fokko] just a minor comment:
It is not a good idea to mix up JIRAs and commits between Calcite and Avatica
since the projects have different release cycles.
Things like that make the life of the release manager more difficult. In this
particular case there was already another jira CALCITE-3105 (for Avatica) that
is now left open.
