Please add description.
Please start JIRA case one-line summary with a capital letter, but do not end
with period ('.'). Same for commit message.
Is this a SQL function? If SQL, use upper-case. Is it standard, or state which
dialects.
Don't use {{assert}} in tests. It gets switched off if asserts are disabled.
Use {{Assert.assertThat}}.
