[~amaliujia] I think we can use it to dump any plan, including manually created
plan, or a snopshot of the plan some time during plan optimization.
[~julianhyde] Yes, I think it is related to CALCITE-3944, as it involves
dumping volcano planner in dot format.
IMHO, it is more natural to implement it in a way similar to
{{Dumpers#dumpGraphviz}}, as the dot format does not have a hierarchical
structure. That being said, it would be feasible to make it an extention to
EXPLAIN PLAN.
