It's good to check the SQL standard, but I believe that our {{MAP}} data type 
is an extension to the standard.

Also, for some dialects we may (or may not - don't remember whether we 
discussed it or did it) have some behavior that is "late binding" or weakly 
typed. Similar to how in languages such as Ruby and JavaScript you can write 
{{x['y']}} as an alternative to {{x.y}}, i.e. treat any struct as if it were a 
map.
