I haven't looked at the PR, but please bear in mind that the last time that new
hintables were added (CALCITE-5107), it led to some issues (CALCITE-5177).
AFAIR, CALCITE-5177 fixed the issue in a generic way that should avoid the same
problem in the future (e.g. in tickets like this one), but I just wanted to
this write comment as a reminder and to verify that this is indeed the case
(and we will not have any regression due to the current ticket).
