Sorry, [~yanjing.wang], but CALCITE-4512 did not make it into the release. I
saw you left a detailed reply. But it would have taken me an hour to even read
your reply, let alone respond, and several days more to get to consensus. I saw
that [~mbudiu] had approved the PR, but I didn't know whether he had seen your
response in Jira. In short, reviewing cases is hard, and I had a job to do as
release manager.
I recommend that you continue to push to get it merged right after 1.38.
