I've been working with httpclient lately.
IIRC SPNEGO support hasn't been really removed, it just needs some additional
setup to re-enable it,
so upgrading to 5.3 or 5.4 which has native bearer support looks possible, and
we don't need to duplicate that code in Avatica.
