Can you fill out the description? I would like to see a design specification,
describing the current situation and why your proposal is better. I do not
intend to read the PR until the the JIRA case has a specification.
I notice that you filed the JIRA case and immediately attach a PR, which
suggests that you started work on the code some time ago. That’s not a good
pattern for open source work. File the JIRA case before you start work on the
code.
