The privacy team
[clarified|https://lists.apache.org/thread/f6bnpglt1w0tnv7711gncx6j9wzmw6hf]
that the ASF policy applies only on ASF domains and not github.com thus we are
free to use any kind of badge provided. The shields.io provider has a clearly
defined [privacy policy|https://shields.io/privacy] so we can use that for
displaying the badges.
