I understand [~julianhyde] , it'd be better to have a more comprehensive (and
ambitious) improvement on this area; but at the moment I don't have the time to
carry out such task.
In the current ticket, I'm merely observing a simplification opportunity that
is missed right now, based on some tests on downstream projects.
