Rather than adding a method to {{Table}}, I created a new {{interface
ExtensibleTable extends Table}} with a method {{Table
extend(List<RelDataTypeField>)}}. If an adapter supports extensions for hidden
columns, then you should make your {{Table}} objects implement
{{ExtensibleTable}}.
