The direct component is synchronous, which mean that it will block waiting for
the exchange to be fully completed. So the threads EIP does not help much, as
the direct component waits (in your case the producerTemplate with the direct
producer) until the threads is done, before its done as well.
You will need to use a component that supports the async routing to take fully
advantage of the threads EIP.
