When load testing my application, BaseTypeConverter#getOrFindTypeConverter
caused threads to block due to the synchronized block in the
getOrFindTypeConverter method. This was triggered when
exchange.getIn().getBody(Class) was called. Changing the method to getBody()
resulted in higher application throughput.
