Updated patch to fix checkstyle issues. I left the tests as is since they are
testing the capability. If combining the component and DataFormat test into a
single class doesn't work let me know and I can split out but I think it makes
sense considering it's the same capability, just done two different ways.
I tested this patch against 2.10.x and 2.11
