I was not able to analyze the cause for this exception. So I tried to follow a 
different approach. This is what I tried:

(1) Installed Apache James mail server on my machine
(2) Wrote a simple program to send and receive emails on my localhost (James 
server)
(3) Used the email attachment as given above.

I do not see any errors in this scenario. Attached is the sample program 
(EmailTest.java) and the corresponding debug log file (debug_log.txt). Could 
anyone offer me additional hints on what could be done?
