Claus Ibsen commented on CAMEL-25481:
-------------------------------------
Partially addressed in https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/27585: an XML
element with text is read as its text, attributes are kept when selected
directly (payload.order.@id) or in a lambda (payload.orders.*order map $.@id),
and the single-value selector on repeated elements gives the first. Still open:
namespaces (ns declarations, ns#name), attributes in XML output (key @(...)),
the DataSonnet XML model of mixed content, and writer properties of non-JSON
outputs. These fail at conversion today.
