Claus Ibsen created CAMEL-25693:
-----------------------------------

Summary: camel-vertx-websocket - close a WebSocket that connects
just after the connect timeout
                 Key: CAMEL-25693
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25693
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: camel-vertx-websocket
            Reporter: Claus Ibsen
             Fix For: 4.24.0

When the vertx-websocket client (a client consumer, or a producer) connects and
the connect does not finish within connectTimeout,
VertxWebsocketEndpoint.getWebSocket() stops waiting and cancels the connect
future so that a connect finishing later closes its WebSocket.

There is a short window between the timeout and the cancel: if the connect
finishes in that window, the WebSocket completes the future, the cancel then
has no effect, and nothing ever closes that WebSocket. The connection stays
open on the client and the server until the server closes it.

Fix: when the cancel comes too late, close the WebSocket the connect completed
with.

Found by the gnodet-bot review of the 4.22.x backport
https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/27904 (CAMEL-25582 / CAMEL-25601); the
same code is on main.
