Claus Ibsen created CAMEL-26273:
-----------------------------------
Summary: camel-clickhouse - the database, table, format and
operation headers override the endpoint without an option to turn that off
Key: CAMEL-26273
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-26273
Project: Camel
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Claus Ibsen
Fix For: 4.24.0
Found while adding the catalog body types of clickhouse (CAMEL-24961, PR
#28393).
{{ClickHouseProducer}} (main 2a465aa4814c, lines 176-200) reads the
{{CamelClickHouseOperation}}, {{CamelClickHouseFormat}},
{{CamelClickHouseDatabase}} and {{CamelClickHouseTable}} headers, and each of
them wins over the endpoint option. A message can so insert into, or query,
another database or table than the one the endpoint is configured with.
Proposed: honour the database and table headers only with an endpoint option
(default false, with an upgrade guide entry), or at least document on the page
that these headers override the endpoint.
