No, 443 is just coded as the default port for the https scheme - see
http://hc.apache.org/httpcomponents-client-ga/httpclient/apidocs/org/apache/http/conn/scheme/Scheme.html
- I just copied this from the 2.14.1 code.
The behaviour as far as SSL goes should be identical with and without the
patch, which just adds an additional socks layer below the SSL if requested by
the httpParams in the BoxConfiguration.
