Yeah good point. Sounds doable to upgrade to 8.x then.
The ticket description mentions 'improve the component by using new features'.
I'd say as a first step, we upgrade the Inifinispan libraries and get the
current component code running 'as is'. Supporting any new 8.x features is a
separate ticket IMO.
wildfly-camel will probably depend on this component upgrade so I can maybe
take on this ticket if you're ok with that.
