Erhun Bayçelik commented on CAMEL-11886:
----------------------------------------

[~onders] I have few questions regarding with this issue.
 * Why don't community disable the wiki edit if they already start to this
migration from wiki to adoc?
 * If wiki documentation is deprecated why do readme still redirect the use to
edit wiki page at
[improving-the-documentation|https://github.com/apache/camel/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#improving-the-documentation]?

 * How do we migrate the documentation to adoc? Are just copy-paste them? Is
there any documents to show the status of headers/parts as open, in-progress,
done.

Actually I want to help that migration but because of above questions I am a
bit confused. I am appreciated, if you can help me about it.

> As we migrate from wiki to adoc files we should have a better guide on how to
> update or contribute to the documentation.
> Also we should post a news on the Camel front page about this, so users can
> better know the state of the docs - as the old wiki is toasted and unfixable
> at this moment.
