The example project has some missing dependencies. But when that issue is
fixed, the metrics endpoint throws an exception:

Caused by: org.apache.camel.NoTypeConversionAvailableException: No type
converter available to convert from type:
org.apache.camel.component.netty.http.NettyChannelBufferStreamCache to the
required type: java.io.Writer with value
