The camel-jackson dataformat has an explicit
[dependency|https://github.com/apache/camel/blob/master/components/camel-jackson/pom.xml#L52-L55]
on jackson-module-jaxb-annotations but for pure json processing it make sense
to remove it.
Users can still add it back if they need it.
