Just a quick update before the end of the week. Hopefully with good news. With
the changes applied, I managed to reduce the test time from:
* About 7:40 min to approximately 3:30 min on my desktop (w/ a fast NVME disk)
* About 9:50 min to approximately 3:55 min on a build server (fast CPU, slow
disk)
* About 10:00 min to approximately 04:31 min on an old machine of mine (~10
year old workstation [ slow CPU / slow disk ])
At the moment, the only thing missing is investigating the
[SpringDebugBeforeTest|https://github.com/orpiske/camel/blob/camel-12336/tests/camel-itest/src/test/java/org/apache/camel/itest/test/SpringDebugBeforeTest.java#L33]
test case before submitting the PR for review. There may be other things we
can do to speed them up in addition to the current changes, but it may be
better to start with the easier ones first
