I was working on a Camel Karaf to Quarkus integration migration and the way to
use the built-in auto-configurations in those two is very different. I haven't
worked much with either combination as I'm a subcontractor.
In the documentation for this component there was no clear indication as to how
the configuration worked in the Quarkus environment. After creating an issue
about this on the quarkus-camel github repo, the eventual fix for this was to
manually instantiate the component with the configuration I needed.
I was then asked to open an issue here. To me the biggest problem was that the
information I needed wasn't available in the context it needed to be ie. the
documentation on component configuration options. I'm not very familiar with
either Camel or Quarkus. This information really needs to be clearer, since
there are many new people like me coming in to these technologies.
