When passing variable to graphQL query, the docs says to reference a bean in
the registry using {{variables=#beanName}} syntax. But the contents of this
bean is static; there doesn't appear to be a good way to set the values of this
bean in a dynamic way, which kind of defeats the purpose to having query
variables
