The only scenario I can imagine which would fill the queue with the aggregated
exchanges is that when one of them is processed it takes a long time to run (or
is much slower than the process generating the aggregates), so that the worker
thread remains busy and any new arrivals are queued. Does that sound possible
in your use case?
