[~jbonofre] I think this is a bug in karaf-maven-plugin. When given a
repository version range of [3,4), it is trying to pull 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT which
doesn't even exist.. Your commit initially fixed the issue for us, since the
version was pinned. But this commit is reverted now and we are getting the same
failure using latest 3.11.x
