In the particular case my colleague [~Edwardkuenen] mentioned, the actuator 
health endpoint showed an overall status of "DOWN" due to the fact that nothing 
had been polled yet by the route, but the *readinessState* and *livenessState* 
both show an "UP" status in the json returned. I would have expected the 
readinessState to be DOWN as well, if I understood your comments correctly?!
